The 6SN7 is definitely one of the best all around voltage amps. Good linearity and musical.
Lots of NOS valves out there still...prices have continued to creep up
As far as your chances of Sophia being the best bang for the buck, they're slim. If you just want a sample to compare to others, makes more sense.
