I agree with those who say the GTB will not eaqual the earlier 6SN7s and the VT231 military tubes. In addition,I didn't want to say they are the equal to the other tubes you listed either.
BTW I just picked a pair of Sylvania 6SN7 Ws for 89.95 on ebay. There seems to be an abundance of the Ws and As these days. A good time to buy if you ask me. I didn't (save some true rarities)need anymore 6SN7s is really an gross understatement, I just through in a lowball offer and therewere no other bidders. The ad showed Ws, but with RCA boxes for some unknowned reason. You don't need to be a genius to determine what was being offered, and the text of the ad read correctly as the typical shorter bottle Ws.
