If you google Noel Lee or TV-7 settings, don't you get some info out there in internet land ? Noel Lee did extensive research; but had to remove some online resources. I did get this above info from a download a few years back; but no 8417 info was in this bundle...

A bit of warning about testing large opts with a TV7 is in order. The fuse lights up brightly with high current filament tubes like KT-88, 6550 and 8417. Our peers have reported erroneous results with many hi-power opts on TV-7s. So, you might want to have some other tester do that duty; or at least have some extra #81 bulbs(fuses) on hand...
