Asking for the best 6sn7 is like asking what is the best car or best type of woman. Ask 5 people and you will get 5 different answers. Your amp and pre are very revealing high quality electronics. They deserve the best tubes you can feed them.
That said I can recommend the following types of 6sn7 as among the best tubes of this type:
Sylvania 6sn7W (any of the three types)
Sylvania 3 hole T plate bottom getter "bad boys"
Tung Sol black glass round plate
RCA VT231 grey glass
Russian metal base "hole plate" 1578
Raytheon 6sn7WGT
Brimar black glass
Sylvania VT 231
There are many other good ones as well. Many also love the Ken Rad black glass, Sylvania 6sn7GTA chrome tops, GE 6sn7GTA, Tung Sol 6sn7GTB tall boys, RCA/GE/CBS 5692, etc. The only way to find out which is best in your amp is to try some. It is worth building up a stash of 6sn7 pairs, they last a very long time and you can always resell what you don't like.
