PrimaLuna Dialogue Five amplifier - sound issue

Hi, I'm brand new here and not had a change to do indepth review of threads so I'm sure it might have been answered.

Got a PrimaLuna Dialogue Five amp last week. I have been listing to it for about 8 hours a day from classical to rock to jazz. Both high res and cd. Source is Mac Mini with Dragonfly DAC with Monitor Audio silver s10 speakers (no pre-amp)

For a couple decades I have been using Classe DR-9. I'm somewhat disappointed that the Classe sounds more sweet and refined in the midrange range on all music types than the PL (also wider sound stage and space in music).

I feel kinda strange about this since every review about PL is so amazing. Should I swap tubes? I really need to do something about the midrange. I hate to say but it sounds kinda metallic / tin foil like on voices etc.
