RE: "I do want to keep the cabinet within WAF range"





Understood. And WAF placement wise, these are fairly unobtrusive. They are narrow and work best in the corners, not out in the middle of the room, away from the side and back walls like some speakers I've used.

They aren't fine grade furniture, but I think they look good for what they cost. The first picture above is from one of the 6 Moons reviews. I included it to show The Horn's relative size. My experience has been that the reviewer had them placed too far from the corners for the horn loading to be effective. Maybe they were using a sub with them, which I do occasionally, when I take the First Watt amp out of the system and switch to tube amps.





Luckily they come in a choice of veneers (I went black), because the green pair in the first picture is not for me. The second picture shows them in a more optimized placement, although I have mine a bit further from the back wall, at about 32".
