RE: Tube pin straighteners ROCK and so do 50 year old French 12AU7's

I picked up a NOS/NIB combo 7-pin/9-pin metal pin straightener a few years back on flea-bay....works well.

I'm using a 1953 French-made RTC ECC81/12at7 tube, in a homebrew RH84 SE tube amplifier.
IMHO, the smoothest sounding driver tube that I've had in there to date.
