If you muck about the WWW, you will quite a few people "drooling" over Sylvania made 6SN7s. Regardless of branding, Loctal tubes were made by Sylvania in PA. The Loctal 7N7 is electrically equivalent to the 6SN7. That fact is known well enough to make buying 7N7s somewhat costly, but the prices asked beat the living guano out of those asked for desirable NOS 6SN7s. Consider acquiring some 7N7s and build/buy adapters for your equipment's sockets.
BTW, the current production "reissue" TungSol 6SN7 is quite decent and its price is low enough to make giving it a tumble worth your while.
