$59 each! i have head very good luck buying from Eastern European EBay sellers at less than a 1/3rd that price, even lower in quantity. That said, I think a lot of new equipment manufacturers use the Russian 9-pins because they are relatively cheap, readily obtainable in quantity, and reasonably reliable, but not necessarily because they are the bee's knees as far as sound quality. If your operative points and wallet allow, consider rolling some NOS 6922s.
