RE: comparing the 6L6 sound to EL34

I agree with your statements. KT66 huh? The only variant I haven't tried.
When I get bored fussing around with everything else. I see new production tubes are inexpensive.
The amp has UL/Triode switching. UL has a more dynamic presentation which is quite nice.
