Yes, I'm curious even though the manufacturer info claims their auto bias circuit is such that ANY tube(within specific types) is optimized.
Supposedly, as good as it gets?
I've been assured by the distributor years ago while owning the same brand, but a lower level model,such experimenting is okay.

Depending how my hearing/taste adjust to the sound, that may be the outcome. Using tubes as tone controls isn't as costly as cable madness.
The only type that really produced unappealing sonics were 6V6.
