Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
I was reading the post by Kevin on the 6922 preamp tubes CJ uses and recommends. The only difference in my setup is I attenuate the signal coming INTO the preamp. Essentially I use a volume control before the preamp. So I'm assuming it's far less then the 2V my streaming audio player puts out.
So taking that stress off the 6922 tube - can I use or try other 6922 tubes?
Any recommendations for that tube?
Will that increase the lifespan of a "rolling" tube?
thanks
charles
PS CJ makes on FINE preamp! Thanks
