I have to agree with Byrd on this I have been rummaging through my tubes and was surprised by how many small signal tubes I have acquired. I have been rolling 12AU7s/ECC82s etc. in a headphone amp with no noises hums, snap crackles pops or dead sections. (please no jinx). I am listening to a 13D5, right now. I am sure my well informed inmates know this Brimar tube. So either I am lucky or like Byrd's old tubes, my old tubes aren't that bad.
