I listen to much the same types of music you do and can recommend you get either a good horn system [some are clearly better than others] or a single driver like PHY KM30. You need something with at least 99db efficiency and a driver with low enough fs and is large enough to provide low freq in your space.
I think 12" is the minimum for good bass response.
In addition to PHY there are several other manufacturers that make these kind of drivers. Either full range or coaxial.
