I had one of these little beauties and thought it was a real bargain in terms of sound quality for the buck. Mine came with Chinese tubes and I upgraded to Russian vintage for a few bucks, a good step up. There are lots of reasonably priced 12AX7's and EL84's, new and NOS to do some fun tube rolling. The only draw back in the design is that you can only use banana plugs for speaker cables. You need to get a converter to use spades and forget the angled lockable bananas with the parallel safety pins, like WBT. All and all cool and fun.
