Perhaps, the choice of words in the subject line is rather harsh, but,
I think most of the tube enthusiasts who use EL34 learned rather quickly that only Chinese made EL34 had that construction with the mica spacer up top. It is a dead give away. With your long track record with ebay and many hundreds of transactions, we find it hard to believe that you did not know those tubes were made in China. Therefore, only newbies who would not know any better would assume that you were not misrepresenting the actual maker of the tube. To be sure, many tube sellers during the 70s and 80s , the ones that put up those Chinese tubes in Westinghouse boxes with deceptive labeling were the worst offenders. Dak
