Thanks for posting that Kevin. Let me guess===not a customer at Upscale? Or lets see...his moniker is Phil lipps and that's where things start.

Lots of folks that have not owned tube equipment just don't understand the implications with buying old tubes. They price shop and go with results from any sort of tube tester. but tubes fail in the real world and not on tube testers.

The costs of taking out circuitry on Audio Research and other type tube equipment far far exceeds saving what, maybe 25% on tubes?

Good job running this thing down and perhaps a few folks will convert.
