That amp is autobiasing.

There is a balance control, which is something you can tune. Do you have access to a digital volt meter and a tone generator? (You can download one onto your phone or computer)

To balance the driver stage, you would play a 60Hz tone into the amp, then measure the AC voltage at one point, write it down, then adjust the pot while measuring another point and dial it in to match (then recheck).
