You should have mentioned that from the start and we would all know what you were talking about. Anyway, you are lucky to have inherited those tubes as they are rare and expensive. I have a few but sound wise they are not be a big difference over another Telefunken 12ax7. As you can see they have a different construction , more like a 6DJ8, which helps on microphonics and reliability. I would definitely only use those tubes to impress your friends and please don't just plug them into any piece of equipment without first making sure said equipment is tested and in good working order. cheers, Dak
