I'm not saying that 7N7 is the best sonically, but it's the best choice for the money at this time; better than spending crazy bucks on new production Psvane, or other overpriced Sino 6SN7 tubes IMHO.

In my 300B SET system, other good 6SN7 choices are EH, which sounds very linear to me; and TS which sounds more rolled off. But even these choices are more expensive than 7N7 right now.
