I am sure there is a community of 400PS owners on the Net. There just isn't many of these beasts, still running. Enthusiasm, for this amp as a part of vacuum tube amp history, is quite high. Ed Jahns is considered an iconic designer of his era. As you well know, these amps still go for very good money --- once stable.

I know of no one that owns this amp. But, from what I've read --- only selected TS 6550 and GE 6550A are recommended. I have not heard of anyone succesfully running 1990's version of Svetlana 6550C in this amp. And those were very good tubes.

Do you have any photos of your amps? And the lab setup to get these amps running?
