these are the best sounding 12AX7's I have used so far. Very Quiet and just some really nice depth and wide soundstage with nice texture to them. Very good bottom end with sweet mids and extended highs. These only have around 10-12 hours on them so far but they are just really nice sounding in my Tube phono preamp. Sorry, I know these at not the CV181 TII but just thought would give you some insight to one of their other tubes.
