Lee, *I* like the Valve Art 6550's and the new production Tung Sols in audio amps. The VA is *warmer* than the TS. I would not chase NOS. Current production power tubes are generally excellent. Just be sure the dealer does a good job of matching etc.Yup, as Tube Acolyte stated, the Gold Lion and Shuguang KT88SC (see Pref Series KT88 from The Tube Store, same thing.
