6X4. Experimented and used them a lot in the Quicksilver Full function preamp and then in my own preamp that used 2 power supplies from a full function, yep, two, and the GE was the best, it uses 2 of them, well 4 with 2 supplies. I tried all the other types, octal, and others and to me, they sound better than even the 5AR4/GZ34 and I have the metal base etc. I have around 150 to 200 nos 6X4 of every type so I tried many from around the world.

iBasso DX300MAX Ti. Focal Utopia and Stellia. iBasso SR2. Mr. Speakers, Ether II, Voce stats. Manley, Absolute headphone amp. LTA MZ3, Z10e electrostatic amp. Many other headphones, amps, cables etc.
