RE: Dynaco ST-70 vs Cronus Magnum

Not exactly a fair comparison.
On the one hand, a mediocre circuit that uses long obsolete input tubes, undersized transformers, a weak power supply and fairly high distortion over the majority of its power bandwidth.
On the other hand, a well designed modern amp, using good quality parts, has excellent customer support and readily available parts and tubes. Not to mention more power, lower distortion and wider bandwidth.
Only downside cost.
