I believe that TS has revised there data sheets to indicate 200 watts now.
I've got a half related experience with the KT150. I have a SE amp that I have run KT88, 6550 and KT150s in. The amp has dropping resistors for the heaters that I remove to run the KT150s, other than that they stay the same.
I think all three sound slightly different with the 6550 being the warmest sounding. Both of the KT types sound similar with the KT150 being a bit more forward in the mids. The bass has more in common than not. This is strictly subjective and I don't know that there would be a measurable difference. I don't notice any difference in volume or loudness at the same settings on the preamp, which is to be expected.
I like the look of the KT150, it's a nice change from the run of the mill.
