The 150 demand more filament current, way more.
The QS amp mentioned has enough filament current as does the V-4 of the original poster. The V-4 PT was originally based on the PT of the M135 which ran 6 each of the EL34/KT88's so it has plenty of filament current.
Full implementation of the KT 150 demands more B+ but then a lot of people run their 211 and 845's way below rated B+ too. Theoretically the 150 can put out 300 watts a pair. In the V-4 I believe the QS gains a mere 10-20 watts, well within the range of the OT. The other QS amp only gains 10 watts a neglegible amount IMHO, although I have not investigated the possibility of the increase in dynamic headroom.
