I use an octet of the Russian Gold Lion KT 88s, which I got from Jim McShane and just love them. I am clearly in the minority re the Ei KT 90s which I found did not sound fully balanced thru-out the frequency range with a recess in the mids of all things. I sold them long ago. Sorry no experience with the Chinese KT 88s or British GEC KT 88s in my amps. I really strongly endorse the current production Gold Lion KT 88s which did everything right in my Jadis. I am thinking about using The GL KT77s at some time soon.
