RE: Westinghouse 6FQ7

Nis factory did make some great tubes, but their late production 6CG7 (6FQ7) were absolute frankensteins. Lumps of metal just tack welded together. Seems like they were a retrofit from another tube type, with some cobbled on pieces to make the plates the right size.

Anyway, could have been anyone making that Westinghouse tube. If you really wanna know the manufacturer, post a pic here. I'm pretty familiar with the 6CG7 family, and can identify most of them.
