I recently purchased a Vincent SP331MK Stereo AMP.
They have been using for the 5or 6 yrs.
(1)12AU7 and (2) 6N16 Sub Minis7-wire.

After a burn of 120Hrs. I decided to ck-out the insides.
WHAT no 12AU7. Instead ECC-91/6J6A with no Mfg name.BUT GOLD PINS.
Not a NOS. Tube was never used as a Audio grade Valve that more test
gear that I can research.
How dose the Amp sound? Very detailed. No colorations
Violins have good timber tones. Nora Jones voice. Just lovely!!
These can be had for 2 to $3 bucks. Did the Mfg go on the CHEAP?
Or has the Vincent engineers. I.e. discovered a here-to hidden sonic JEWEL.
