Hell yes!
Check out the prices for Matsushita made 6922s, EL34s, and 5AR4s, if you can find them. Matsushita acquired tooling from Mullard. The tubes physically resemble Mullard and sound a lot like Mullard too. Durability is only slightly less than the English "parents".
Japanese 6GK5s are also fine.
