I got some New Sensor ressiue Tung-Sol 6SN7 marked 07 03 ( Year Month or week presume).
The perfom excellent and are well matched and provide less distorion than any other 6SN7 I have( 10-12 different manufacturer NOS and new.) YMMV.
Macthed witin 5%.I recently boughta new pair TS reissue 6SN7 (13-01) and they are matched within 0.5% on overall gain in my amplifier. Low distortion and record low noise. Transconductance lower than spec (1,9 vs 2,5 according to the tube box notes), but work excellent. Similarly the TS reissue 6SL7 from 2013 are also excellent matched. Gain is 60 rather than 70 according to tube box, but that suits my amplifier well. Lower noise the any other tube I have.
I got my tubes from a guitarshop in UK the were delivered with individial test data included, but my data are based on measurements in my amplifier.
Quality is far above the chinese 6SN7 I bought where on was broken , one useless, and one worked with a distortion twice as high as the russian tubes.
Running in the tubes now before serious listening comparisons are made. Sounds good from the box...My russian 6N6P and 6N1P tubes ar not so well matched, and differ quite a bit, 60 70s an 80 production.
i Also got some Chelmer Valve 6SN7, the are nothing but rebranded 6N8S/6H8C and poorly macthed and higher distorion than TS reissue.
