If you like the Wing C I would stock up while they are available.

ARC has switched to the Sovtek 6550WE preferring them to the Wing C.

I have listened to the Wing C, Sovtek 6550WE, current production Svetlana(from New Sensor) and the original Svetlana before they changed the labeling to Wing C. To my ears they all sound more alike than not. I could live happily with any of them.

At the moment I am running the Sovtek 6550WE in the REF300 amps. Great tube! Purchased them from Jim McShane.
