I recently came across a pair of TELAM 6SN7 tubes. They are produced by TELAM Warsaw, Poland. These tubes where produced September 1957 and have several (12) vent holes in the anode construction sporting a visible cathode. Metal plate curved getter. They are a "copy" or precursor of the Russian 1578 6N8S tubes in this way. TELAM tubes where produced in the ZWLE factory, a Philips owned factory established in 1922 producing electron tubes. Many tubes where rebranded as Lamina, Polam (and subsidiaries), Telam and ZPP. The production came to an end in the 1990´s.
Soundwise they are like the Russian 1578 6N8S tubes, dynamic and broad sound scale.
