Is this a thermistor?
Was poking around in my ARC D70 (I just can't keep out of there!)
I few flakes came off this piece during my prodding.
Took it out and now looks like quite a bit has been missing for quite a while.
Reads around 64 ohms at room temperature. And if I place between my fingers (warming it up) resistance drops the longer I hold it. Kind of neat actually.
So it appears to be doing what it is supposed to, but in pretty rough shape.
Have attached a couple of pics.
I don't think I should be using it in the condition it's in.
So far no luck finding a replacement on the internet.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers!
Jonesy
