I've found that the Grounded Grid is spectacular as is. Tube rolling can come into play as it employs 3-12AU7 bottles. Only add-on that would be necessary is the Grounded Grid Preamp Muting circuit made specifically for SS amps. Not necessary for tubed amps. I have played with replacing the volume pot with some nice stepped attenuators that give me more control. The only other thing one can do is change the output coupling caps. Mundorf Silver in Oil are sweet but what is supplied is very good. It is really hard to improve this little guy.
After that there is really nothing left to do. It is that simple.
