Never heard of a HK223... there were the lower powered TA224 and TA230, the TA260 using 7355 output tubes.
I don't think there ever was a stereo receiver that used 6L6s - by the time of stereo, smaller output tubes like 7189, 7591, 7355 were generally used. I can think of a few mono receivers that used 6L6s though.
