Yes, the LEAK power transformers have always run hot.
OTOHand the PSUs aren't powering a pre-amp and I am told that we are within the limits of the PTs.
Cool running PTs would be nice. As I see it the two options are;
i) a new higher rated PT for each St 20 - bespoke type - with a good bit more in reserve for both the heaters and for HT - AND still fit into the available space and bolt holes. Even the covers. OR
ii) supplementary PSU chassis - one for each St20 - using off-the-shelf PTs and parts - to supplement the existing St20 PTs.
