"...die Bezeichung Gabl. bedeutet Garantieablösung. Die ehemalige Deutsche
Bundespost hat die benötigten Röhren meistens direkt von den Herstellern
bezogen.
Sie hatte Güteprüfer (Beamter/ Beschäftigte der DBP) in den Firmen, die die Röhren stichprobenmäßig nachdem die Röhren das Herstellerprüffeld verlassen hatten, nochmals prüften. Teilweise wurden die Röhren auch erst im Röhrenprüffeld beim FZZA Göttingen, später FZA Simmern geprüft.
Die DBP erhielt, weil sie durch die eigenen Prüfungen das Ausfallrisiko
erheblich mindern konnte und dadurch auf Garantieersatz im Schadensfall
verzichtete, Rabatte.
Diese Röhren wurden vom Hersteller mit Gabl gekennzeichnet..."hope this helps and you find a translator.
