My own opinion is the opposite. Yes, maybe compared to the older Sovtek branded 6922 the EH is "warm", but that's about it IMHO. That's not to say it isn't a very good tube, and the added bit of warmth as compared to the older Russian 6922 stuff is indeed most welcome.

At least as compared to the EH, in my experience the Genalex tend to have closer Gm and cathode current match between sections.
One of our fellow inmates was able to find out from NS that the cathode melt on the Genalex is different/better than the EH. Again IMHO that is not a small difference.
