NOS, is a short for new old stock, right? New old stock is a phrase that has the meaning of; a product that has been produced many years ago and has a adequate age relative to products produced today, by other means OLD. NOS also means that the product has been stored in STOCK since production without any use since production day, preferably in the products original casing/box. This meaning that the product is in pristine condition and as brand NEW, never used, has the same capacity, function, value, what ever, and has been in storage since it was produced. Anything else is NOT NOS, PERIOD!If anyone can make this more clear please do.
