The 2A3 thing is really confusing and I can show you why.Look these three tubes.They are all Sylvania and yet they all have different insulators on top..One is a JAN but still made by Syl. I would say your tube may be a JAN Sylvania or TungSol as they both used that polished glossy black plate where the others used a flat black type.
