What kind of preamp do you have? You have to remember that paper in oil and teflon caps can produce an incredible musical experience but they do have to break in and both paper in oil and teflon love higher DC voltage across them as it aids with break in.Sometimes a film and foil can be a better choice if there is low DC voltage present where you are trying to couple or decouple.What value caps are you using?
