There are 2 reasons to be VERY cautious about the substitution: forward drop in the GZ32/5V4 is less than that in the GZ30/5Z4 and 1st filter cap. size limits. Do you want to over voltage your signal tubes and/or have a 5V4 arc over at power turn on?Do a little digging and you'll see that the characteristics of the 5Z4 and 5Y3 are quite close. The 6087/5Y3WGTB has a cathode sleeve, like the 5Z4. ;>)
edit: corrected 5687 "fat finger" error/6087 is correct
