I'm out of using 6SN7s for many years. When I did use those kind of tubes I amassed about a dozen of the legendary 1953 round plates but in the 7N7 versions. Sold them all to a guy on the forum here. Pretty rare and I had to scour the dealers to get them.
But to my ears a couple of 2C22 beat the pants off all of them.
