One characteristic I'd like to see would be a true simulation of a 5AR4 warmup characteristic. i.e. Zero conductance @ initial application of HV with a delay of about 5 sec then a slow ramp up of conductance over about a 15 sec period to a final conductance that simulates a fully warmed up 5AR4. Another nice feature above and beyond a true thermionic emitter would be a power loss detector such that the cold warm up sequence is repeated if there's a momentary power loss.
