nice mike, i can confirm your experience! i also drive KT120s with RTF ECC82/12AU7 valves. they combine all the positive charcacteristics of the other brands IMHO. sometimes i change with RFT ECC82 foil getter type. also a great performance but sounds a bit more special than the french ones. RTF vs. RFT...very funny!
