My Woo WA6-SE headphone amp takes a variety of tube types -- types which, I believe, were used in TV sets. These are types that combine a driver and a power tube. My favorite is the 6DR7. I'm using an RCA 6DR7 with great effect. I've tried other brands but they are probably rebranded, so I'm not sure what I'm getting. I've tried GE, "Pinnacle" (never heard of the that one before), and Westinghouse.

This is not a common tube to ask about, but just wondering if anyone has any other ideas for a 6DR7. I'm happy with the RCA so I am really talking about looking for that last 5% of perfection. Not really necessary, but hey, worth a shot.
