The radiators are found on a variety of massive tubes. I have seen some I think that were encased entirely by glass and could have been water cooled for all I know. I agree that this one looks like it is air cooled. I wonder if any of these mammoth tubes could ever been adopted as amplifiers in a circuit for audio. The output wattage would be insane and I guess the dedicated power supplies would take up a small room. I don't know but it appears they are very high power devices. How many watts radio stations claim??
