Not entirely sure of your question because obviously, there is a huge variety of mfgrs/brands/sources for plain old EL84s. If however you're asking about the so called EL84M I'm aware of only NOS Russian items. Even these are a bit confusing because you have the 6P14P-EB(EV) a "5,000hr" device and the 6P14P-ER(ED)(EP) a "10,000hr" device. Both are sold as the Russian "EL84M" on epay and other places. Physically, the two are nearly identical but the ER device has two little flag type g1 radiators while the the EB does not. FWIW, the original EL84M as marketed by Sovtek/New Sensor in the early 90's was the longer lasting ER type but relabeled as EL84M. I think most of tubes labled as the EL84M that are available today from the typical sources are of the EV variety. Even the Russian epay sellers with original military surplus stock don't always clearly distinguish between the two in their auction descriptions. If the pics are good, you'll see the Cyrillic EB or ER as part of the type designation or you'll see the grid radiators on the ERs.I've used the ER version of the EL84M in a couple of apps that tend to beat the crap out of 6BQ5s for well over a decade w/o issue and they're still running strong. I even like how they sound but this is definitely personal preference.
